Assumption Life: One of Canada's 2015 Best Employers

Assumption Life is being recognized as one of the 50 Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada for 2015. The company stood out for its initiatives in promoting employees’ health and well-being, its respect for staff family-life balance and congenial relations among coworkers. 
This list, published in PROFITguide.com,is compiled from a survey conducted by the Queen's School of Business in partnership with Aon Hewitt to measure trends in employee engagement across the country.

 


"This study also provides the opportunity for participating companies to get a feel for their employees. It gives employees, rather than external experts, a voice in determining the best employers,” explained André Vincent, Assumption Life CEO. “Best employers are determined by the responses of participating companies’ employees. This is a true recognition from our employees, and so all the more special.”

 

The level of employee engagement at Assumption Life is 79% compared to an average of 65% among all companies surveyed.

Assumption Life is also #22 in Progress magazine’s 2014 list of Top 101 Best Employers in Canada.
