Group Critical Illness Insurance

They say those who have their health have it all. However, a critical illness can change everything.

obligations if they had to deal with a critical illness? Assumption Life’s critical illness insurance allows your employees to focus entirely on getting well. 

How does it work?
The plan is available for your employees with an option for their dependants. The plan covers 25 critical illnesses and an additional 6 conditions for dependent children.

If diagnosed with one of the 25 illnesses covered, your employee will receive the lump sum set out in your contract to help cover additional expenses along the road to recovery. These can include compensating for sick leave, paying for travel for treatment or paying for home care or treatments not covered by health insurance.

Coverage amounts
   For the participant:
  • 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 or 3 time(s) their annual salary
  • In units of $10,000, up to a maximum of $250,000
   For dependants:
  • Spouse: Maximum coverage of $50,000
  • Dependent children: Maximum coverage of $25,000
